Please read and agree to all of the rules below, to help us make this a safe, supportive, and productive tool for all who use it.
- Be respectful to all of the people, all of the time. Our chat room is a positive environment, and if you can't help to maintain it, you won't be allowed to use the chat room. In other words, name calling, cursing at someone, or other rudeness will not be tolerated.
- No profanity. Please do not use profanity in the chat room. profanity directed towards other members will not be tolerated.
- All conversations should be kept to a PG-13 level or lower. This includes descriptions, as well as any linked websites or images. This includes topics such as sex, alcohol, drugs, as well as any other topic that might be inappropriate for a younger audience. Please avoid discussing any 'triggering' topics in the chat room as well.
- Do not overuse sound effects or smileys. Excessive usage of these is considered spam.
- Use private messages when appropriate. If your conversation with another person seems to be bothering the rest of the people in the chat room, move it to a private message, even if your conversation is not offensive.
- Only use the room for its intended purpose. If you are asked to stop these conversations by a member of staff and do not, you may be removed from the room or banned.
- Don't run scripts involving the chat room without administrative approval. This includes statistical scripts as well as scripts allowing yourself or others to access the chat room without using the Java applet. Users found running scripts without permission will be banned from chat and may also be banned from the forums.

If you experience a problem with another user while in the chat room, please contact us via email, with a full description of the situation.
